Error herramienta linea

tengo un error con herramienta linea, quiero hacer una linea pero lo unico que sale es un rectangulo o cuadrado, como puedo solucionar ese error.

Hi, before resetting the preferences, I suggest to reset the line tool: right-click on its icon in the option bar.
but it seems that your document has a very small resolution, so the small line width chosen also translates to a rectangle.
