Error loading CC 2018 Custom CEP Extensions

Getting an error in CC 2018 saying that custom extension "could not be loaded because it was not properly signed." (BTW: link on error message goes to 404 ERROR)

In development, we have been setting the CEP 7 "PlayerDebugFlag" flag to "1", but that seems to no longer be working.  Is there a new method for doing this?

I also see on the Illustrator discussion page that the same issue is happening in Ilustrator 2018

Hi,

Do you happen to know what custom extension is triggering the alert? Are you just in development or loading another developers extension?

With the new major version updates, we also updated the CEP architecture so you have to modify new files for debugging. Look for the CEP 8 files and edit them similarly to the CEP 7 ones in the last major version.

regards,

steve

'HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/Adobe/CSXS.8/PlayerDebugMode', '1'
