ERROR "Could not save as [....pdf] because of a disk error"

I've been trying to save a file as a PDF version.

I open my regular PSD (or any other JPG/PSD/PNG) file, I click, 'Save as...', select 'PDF' from the dialog, then I get an error message saying: 'Could not save as [filename].pdf because of a disk error.'

I have resized my file 40% to see if file size was the issue, I still get the error.

I have used RGB/CMYK profiles, I still get still the error.

I have enlarged my RAM to 11000 MB, restarted Photoshop, still the error.

I have turned off 'Save in background' in preferences (advice from earlier topic), still the error.

I have started Photoshop with Ctrl+Alt+Del to remove all preferences, I still get the error.

I just cannot output any PDF file from Photoshop - I need to go to the printer so I really need your help!

I use the latest version, just updated an hour ago, Photoshop CC 2017.0.0

I got 780 GB of free space on a disk of 930 GB, so disk space doesn't seem to be the issue.

I use Windows 10 Home, 64-bit, 16 GB RAM

Can someone from Adobe tell me how Photoshop handles its extensions?

I can save everything fine (normal PSD's/JPGs/PNG's etc.) EXCEPT PDF, is there some insight into any other issue that might prevent Photoshop from creating PDF files? Please share any insight into how Photoshop saves its PDF files, so I can think of a solution, too! Would be of great help..!

Make sure your Library folder should not be locked.

I cannot find any folder named Library on my system, where should I be able to find it?

I see this 'Library locked' suggestion has been given to users with Photoshop CS5 - I'm using CC 2017.0.0, are you sure this can be used for this version?

I can't find any folder named Library in which my settings/preferences should be stored.

I am having the same issue. Did the file I'm working on somehow corrupt and thats what is causing this? I have used the export from artboards function in Photoshop plenty of times on this computer and randomly today it decides it doesn't want to export. I get "Could not save [filename.psd] because of a disk error.
