Hi Everyone,
I'm receiving the above error when I try to print a PSD in Photoshop. When I attempt to print on the "8.5 x 11 Document Setting" it gives me the error but when I try to print 8.5 x 11 Photo settings on my printer I don't get the error. I have a Canon G6020 and have uninstalled then reinstalled the drivers and also uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop. Documents print fine in other applications such and Word and Outlook, and the printer drivers & firmware are up-to-date after the reinstall. Is this because I'm attempting to print the PSD as a normal document and not a photo, or is this an error I can fix? Help!
(P.S. I'm brand new to Photoshop CC so if this is a newbie error please be gentle)

Hi,
Great that you added screenshots.
Why would you print a PSD as a "Document" - Photoshop makes 'photo type' data, what are you hoping to gain by choosing "document"?
Anyhow, where is "Document" or "Photo" set [more screenshots needed]
At the top of the print settings dialog - under "commonly used settings," you have"Standard" selected. Those "settings" are named presets that include various option choices in the print settings Canon driver dialog.
Media type "Plain Paper" is that the material you're printing on? That option should be set to match your loaded media.
You can usually accept the "image is larger - - - " error - clicking 'proceed', maybe you made the image too big given paper borders imposed by the printer software. You'll find out if that matters when you print because your image will perhaps be cropped.
Back to your inability to print (if you still have issues, that’s an error I never saw and the info is not too helpful):
Here is some general info on printing problems,

if that doesn’t help -
Perhaps try resetting Photoshop preferences?
Resetting restores Photoshop's internal preferences which are saved when Photoshop closes. If they become corrupt then various issues can occur.
Here's some info on how to do that:

You may want to backup your settings beforehand:

It may even be time to reinstall Photoshop.
Use the Adobe CC cleaner tool to remove all traces first.
Uninstall photoshop BUT make sure to choose the option “Yes, remove app preference”.
Once that process finishes, start the installation process and look into the “Advanced Options”. Uncheck “Import previous settings and preferences” and choose to “Remove old versions”.

I hope this helps
