Good morning,
I am hoping that the community might offer some clarity to my predicament.
Recently I opened my Photoshop CC and receieved a prompt saying this:
So I contacted Adobe support and was told to update my calender and time. That didn't seem to work. So I tried again and was told that my Mac OS X 10.9.5 that is currently running an older version of CC is the problem and that I will have to purchase a new computer to fix the problem.
Is this true???
Is there any way around this that anyone help me with please?

I periodically have a somewhat similar thing happen. Although my error is that my subscription can't be verified. After a lot of help by Abobe, I found that my router was the issue. I have to unplug it and restart it every time I get the error. Maybe it's starting to fail. All other web connections work fine, but not checking my subscription. Really weird. Maybe try that, or if you're on a laptop, try going to a friend's and using their internet.

@Chuck Uebele might be right. Has anything changed with your network recently? If it's a network problem, you could try restarting your router, or connecting to a different network.

That said, macOS is ancient in computer terms, and certainly not a secure OS by today's standards. (Apple only supports 10.14 and later)
