Hello,
ExtendScript Tool Kit CS6 on Mac appears to have issues when trying to change the background color of the text (I'd like to avoid that bright white).
So, Preferences - Fonts and Colors - check All Display Items. No matter what color I pick as "Item Background" I end up with pure black. Except for "Linen", "Aquamarine" and few others - which are pretty sophisticated hues but they don't suit my coding taste 😉
Is that a know, hopeless issue?
TIA
Davide

What code should not work? Do you have an example?

I also haven't changed those settings before but I just did a test and have the same problem on Windows. So I would say it's not an OS issue.
looks like ESTK has the Henry Ford approach to color selection. Any color you want as long as it's black.
