Everything Grayed Out in Photoshop - Windows

In the most recent version of Photoshop, I cannot make any changes to any photo that I "Edit in Photoshop" from Lightroom. Literally almost everything is grayed out unless I open a file directly in Photoshop. If I open the files from Bridge, nothing works either. This is extremely problematic. Everything works fine if I'm working in Mac and this is a new issue that I'm experiencing in Windows. I've reinstalled all Adobe products and even tried it on a brand new, untouched instance of Windows/everything. I've tried converting my raw NEF files to DNG and no luck. Please help!

I've been having the same issue with Windows 10 since the Photoshop update.
I did try opening PS first and it worked this time.

You can try to disable Homescreen i PS. If it works you don't need to open PS first. It works for me!

Apparently there is a bug, try opening Photoshop first.
