Question

Exclamation Mark Inside Triangle Icon with Pen Pressure Control Settings

In Photoshop CC, I'm trying to apply Pen Pressure control for a graphics tablet. When I go into the brush settings, I check "Shape Dynamics" and in the Shape Dynamics settings, I select Pen Pressure in the Control drop down menu. This does not work. Instead, it results in a small icon appearing, which is an exclamation mark within a triangle. What does this mean? How can I fix it?

I'm having the same issues. It is not an issue with my tablet, I have updated everything and deleted/re-installed my software countless times. This is an adobe issue.

I had the same problem with (Wacom Intous s) and the solution was :

  1. Go to Wacom tablet properties application
  2. Select Photoshop from the upper panel (or add it if you didn't before)
  3. Select [Mapping] from the sub-panel below
  4. Enable [Use Windows Ink] checkbox

Done all that. Everything set up correctly, problem persists.

It looks like Photoshop is not seeing the pen pressure

Take a look at this page on setting up a tablet. It says windows 8 but it also applies to 10 and there is more advice on the page

Tablet support for Photoshop on Windows 8
