Question

Expand sky replacement

Hi, quite often I am using a picture with some sky and I am placing it onto a larger canvus where I want more sky to be visable above the trees or what ever

Photoshop replace sky trips up on this and it all looks wrong, is there a way to expand the sky to fill the canvas above?

In the Sky Replacement dialog, increase the Scale, set Output to New Layers, and click OK. Then on the newly created Sky layer, adjust its layer mask so that it includes the sky that you want to add.

Hi, perhaps I am not explaining myself very well.

I open an image with sky, but I increase canvus size above the sky. As I want more sky in the image. When I do the replace sky, I get a total change of colour int he newly added canvas area.

I have attached an example.

I increased the cavus above to see more sky, this area is now obvioously whitye compared to the image causing the jarring line right through it.
