Export As with Use Legacy "Export As"

Question

I am on a Macbook Pro (mid-2015) running Big Sur Version 11.3.1. I am using PSCC 23.1.

I have not exported since I upgraded but I now I cannot export when the the box in preferences that says Use Legacy "Export As" is checked. I just get a blank page and when I click on export I get a message that says "No valid asset. Please resolve any warnings and try again." I guess if it is working with the Legacy Box unchecked that is OK, but what exactly is the difference between the two. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello, one of the differences between the two is the technology used: CEP, the old way to make panels, or UXP, the new way, modern, with better scripting environment, etc. The old one relied on Generator to work, IIRC, could you try to see if it is enabled in your preferences? The new one is a work in progress that is supposed to replace the very old Safe for Web, and the in-between legacy export as.
