Question

Export groups with a fixed base layer ( group ) as a background

Hi,

Id'like to export to png via the right click on the group while keeping the base layer ( group) which contains a personalised background. (it should appear on all the group while exporting as it doesn't now.)

I've ended ended up using a shortcut for the "quick export as" as in here:

Not ideal, as I have to manually toggle the visibility of each groupe whil keeping the base one active. but stills...

further more moving the layer on the group make it systematically on the top , while I'd liked it to be the last ( so that it does not hide the layers inside the group )

Convert the base layer to a smart object.

Place a copy of this smart object in each folder.

By changing the contents of the smart object, you can change the contents of each folder.

Nothing else comes to mind if you want to use "export as".

Even the "Knockout-> Deep" mode won't help.

To fully automate the process, it must be repeatedly triggered by vbscript (with delay) for each folder.

Move a background to each group so it's going to be exported with it or put all groups and the background to another folder, then export this folder each time, changing visibility of contained subfolders (so one at a time).

Hi & thanks but there are almost 60 groups, It'll be a tedious process to copy the folder to each group .
I though there was an hidden feature for that purpose .
