Exporting a selection with a video animation into another doc. ( Home Page )

Hello friends,

Fairly new to PS and I thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

I have a selection with a bunch of adjustment layers, clipping layers, retouches and so forth. I have also applied a 2 seconds video animation, fading effects etc. etc.

So this is what I am trying to achieve:

I would like to export this animation ( it's a super hero face ) into a different document. The document is a landing page - hamburger menu, contact info, social icons and so forth -

I was succesful rendering the video as it is in mp.4 version. The animation is working very nice just by itself. I have converted everything into a smart object in order to resize my selection once exported in my landing page.

This is my problem: I have no idea how to save and export my animated selection and my home page together. Basically I would like to have the face playing the animation that I have created on top of my home page at all time. Is it even possible?

Every time I export my selection into my other file I am not able to render the video anymore. HOW CAN I CONNECT THE 2 FILES?

Late response. Sorry! Fixed it!! Thank you so much for the help. Just switched to Adobe Media Encoder and I was able to save it as mP.4

I have exported the selection ( face ) as a smart object. It is now on top of the rectangle ( grey with the logo BXR etc.)

I have now created a video timeline animation of the face. It is working.

Now I want to export everything with my animation still going. But when I go to render video the dialogue box wants to save it as a jpg.

I am sure I will need to do adjustments in this dialogue box in order to export everything with my animation still going but I don't know how.

OK, In the center it is set to Image sequence. It must be set to a video format. The jpg sequence will generate a still jpg for each frame of the animation which can be imported into another program and render to video. But if the video is small enough, then setting it to video is good enough.

If you had a large video that would take hours or days to render, then image sequence would be a better choice as you could stop the render and begin again the next day starting with the next frame. Which is why it is an option.

I would think the you would need to render out you video animation as a video file and in you other document create a video timeline if you have not already done so and add your video animation clip to the document video timeline.

If you want the video animation in a web page you need to create the page using HTML and play the mp4 in the page.  Most browsers can play mp4 and the are player there the can autoplay video in a web page and auto start play or have video controls.

    Photoshop Video Anination

Ok, I am confused.  What landing page? What program is used to view it?

Maybe a screen grab to show us what and where you are trying to get to.

Your web page is an html file that has links it to point to where the video is saved on your web server. As long as the html file and the video file are both on the server, it will work. Photoshop it self can not save an html file. This needs to be created in a program like Dreamweaver (supports syntax highlighting to make it easier) or a text editor if you are familiar with html scripting.
