Exporting a video in Photoshop

Apr 11, 2018 Apr 11, 2018

Hello all

Hope you can help me. I am going out of my mind trying to resolve this. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a 10 second clip been sent to me which I want to place inside a graphic in a Photoshop file.

The file is either a .mov or a .mp4 file. I can use either.

I placed the movie file into Photoshop and convert the layer to a smart object.

I then render the video in Photoshop and save it as a .mov file.

The problem is when I open the newly created .mov file, the movie does not play automatically.
I have hover over the file and when the controls appear, I can press to start the movie.

Is there not a way to get the .mov to start automatically, as soon as you open the file??

If anyone could explain how the process could solve the problem I am facing, I would be eternally grateful.

Many thanks

S

Hello, help us help you: what is your version of Photoshop, what is your OS?

How do you open the videos? does other videos auto-play?
