Extra space around canvas - how to remove?

Hi,

I'm sure I am being a wally here but I recently reinstalled Photoshop and can't work out how to remove the grey (or whatever colour you have it set to) 'extra space' around the canvas if I'm working in a floating frame?

I'm sure that the canvas used to stretch right to the edges (so it was 'touching' the rulers if that makes sense) with no extra space?

Help!

Thanks

Close your files. Go to Preferences > Tool... and uncheck "Overscroll." Reopen your files. Does the problem go away?

...Or maybe it's just at the top and bottom it didn't used to have it? I'm confusing myself now!
