Does anyone know how to turn off the the giant circle that appears when using the eye dropper tool to pick up another color? It is certainly annoying. I can plainly see what color I’m getting without that thing interrupting my work. Thanks!

Hi There,

You need to uncheck the option Show Sampling Ring on the top option bar to remove the circle.

Let us know how it goes.

No, where is the box to turn it off? You showed a small snippet of it above, but I'm not seeing where it's located, thank you

I'm quite aware of when it was answered. But it was answered with a small snippet of a picture, not showing where the box is located on the screen. 😕 If you know where it is, could you please just tell me?

nevermind, I'll just post it somewhere else and maybe someone will show me without being a jerk about it.

There was nothing wrong with the answer you got. You literally asked “…could you just please tell me?” and that is what he did, he told you exactly and precisely where it is: At the top of the screen, in the options bar when the Eyedropper tool is selected. Can you please explain how the answer could have been better than that?

If you wanted a picture, here it is, but it’s just exactly what he clearly said already:

Truly one of the most annoying features of the brush tool. It's jarring. I have to turn it off each time I start Photoshop. It won't stay off.
