Eye Dropper not working properly in 22.1.1

So, I have set my Wacom Pen's right click button to the the Eye Dropper tool since I use this constantly and I try to avoid using the keyboard as much as possible due to wear and tear on my hands. This has been working great in previous versions, but when updating to 22.1.1 this will only let me pick the color like 1 out of 10 times, if that. What's strange is that when using the Alt on the keyboard it picks the colors just fine. I'm on a Cintiq Pro 24 and on Windows 10. Last version of PS I've used with no issues is 21.0.3...
