Eyedropper tool not changing color in color panel

I just updated photoshop to to 25.1 and the eyedropper tool works differently now? Previously when you picked a color of the canvas it would change the color in the color pannel but now it only changes the foreground or background swatch color and leaves the color in the larger pannel the same.  Is there a way to get around this/put it back?

Hi @AudreyBoxwell Update to 25.2 released this week. It addresses this bug.
