Help! I am having problems uploading my pictures to facebook they look horrible I tried everything from resizing 2048 and all the other sizes with no luck it looks compressed.

    ok found the problem thank you I was uploading the pictures on my desktop facebook app for some reason it was giving me compressed pictures thank you!

    Are the pictures in Camera RAW or JPEGs? Taken with a phone or camera? How do they look before processing? When you “try everything”, what exactly have you tried, and do you always start with a fresh copy?

    Can you post a photo here that has not yet been altered?

    Photos are taken with a Digital camera Sony a6500/a6300 In Raw format. When I a said that I have tried everything I meant that facebook requires that I crop the photo. I tried posting a sample photo to you but its 23.7mb how do I resize?

    You can resize in Photoshop > Image > Image Size, or from Camera Raw, click Save Image in the bottom left.

    What file format are you using for Facebook? If it's a jpeg, what quality?
