Facing errors with the Magic Wand tool.

Hello guys. Last night, I was trying to edit my Indian restaurant’s logo and selecting the brightly coloured petals of a yellow sunflower against a subtly lighter yellow background using the Magic Wand Tool. However, the background is also selected whenever I try to choose a petal. Can anyone help me solve this issue?

What do you have in the options bar for the Magic Wand for tolerance? The default is 32. Try changing it to something lower.

That's so odd. The only time I've had that trouble is when I had "Sample all layers" on, but if its a photo of the logo you're editing, that probably won't be the case

Thank you so much for your help. It did work. I guess it was a glitch or something. My [weblink removed] restaurant's logo is complete thanks to that.
