File doesn't work in Photoshop 2020 macOS

Why would a file work in PS 2019 just fine but not work in 2020? I have a file that sends PS 2020 into not responding and ultimately crashes the program. If it does open it I can't work the file.

When I open the same file in 2019 it works just fine. I don't know what to do and only want to use one program.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear that,  as the file is making Photoshop crash, could you please try enabling "Legacy compositing" located in Photoshop's Preferences > Performance, then relaunch Photoshop and let us know if it helps?
