File opening as a "New Document"

Hi. I am trying to open a PSD file I was working on yesterday. Now, PS opens the "New Document" pop-up window, and I can only open a white canvas. I checked this issue on other people's threads and tried opening the file by double-clicking on it and dragging and dropping, too, but the issue persisted.

Running current PS version on Windows 11

Are you double-clicking from Windows Explorer? Bridge? How about File > Open from Photoshop?

Please show a screenshot of how the file looks in Bridge or Windows Explorer. What is the file size in MB, what is the document size in pixels?
