Files are marked as changed by the SVN when opened in Photoshop

One of our artist is using TortoiseSVN on his computer.

When opening the file in Photoshop/Illustrator/After Effect, the file is automatically marked by TortoiseSVN program as changed and needing to commit. I tried with a simple .txt with notepad and it doesn't do that, only with adobe products.

The odd thing is, he told me it only started to do this recently, and this is rather inconvenient for him.

Anyone has any ideas if something changed or if there is a setting to change? By what I've seen it looks likely that photoshop and co writes something to the file while opening it. Anything to disable this behavior?

Thanks
