Filter> Blur Gallery> Tilt Shift

I am grateful for enabling Tilt-Shift (blur gallery Option) in Smart Objects.

However the Tilt-Shift tool user blur zone adjustment guides are no longer rotateable. The blur zones are only north to south and can no longer be rotated e.g east to west and all variations between.

Could you please restore this option as it was before latest version update.

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Hello, please post the contents of help>system info, so that we know your OS, the exact version of Photoshop you are running, the date of the GPU driver, etc.

All I did was update to 21.0.3 yesterday. The day before I could rotate with no problems.

Perhaps you could answer why the system info below says 20.0.7 ? I always receive update reminders for both 21.0.nn and 20.0.7. I just ignore the updater for 20.07 and only update 21.0.nn.

Hello, you might have two installs of different versions of Photoshop, check in your applications, on in the creative cloud application.

Thanks, yes, that solved it. I uninstalled 20.0.7. Downgraded 21.0.2 to 21.0.2, then re upgraded back to 21.0.3.

Tilt Shift is working fine now. Thanks.

Only problem now is I lost all my User settings, Actions, Workspaces, ThirdParty Extensions, et al, and I will have to find them to get back to my former status.

PS: regarding above solution: For anyone using this solution and to avoid losing User Settings, Extensions, etc.

If deleting an earlier (duplicate) version, the dialogue box offers an alert to Keep or Remove earlier version User Settings. You should select the 'Keep' earlier version settings, then the problem I had with lost settings is avoided.

Since I did a full Backup of C:\ drive last night, this morning I was able to restore to original state and re-delete my earlier (dulicate) version with the Keep settings option. Now all is perfect !
