Filter-render-light effects problem need help

hello, i am using the latest version of photoshop and my filter/render/light effects doesnt work. I'm not a technical person and dont understand much. Can anybody help me?

When i open the filter, it divides the photo into two and these two only shows the bottom area. I am using macbook pro 16".

If your Mac firmware and software is all updated and you have reset your Photoshop preferences. Have you tried any other model Mac.  Render lighting effect works on my Windows PC in Photoshop 22.4.2.

Thank you for your answer.. all is in update and i reset the preferences but nothing changed. the problem started after updating the latest version.

It may be a Mac issue or Photoshop may not be detecting you GPU  Adobe seem to be having  problems developing Photoshop 2021 GPU support every 2021 version of Photoshop seems to have changed GPU support.

What does your Photoshop 2020 Preferences and System info show about your mac GPU?

I uninstalled PS 2021 version and installed PS version 21.2.9 (Photoshop 2020) and it started to work. 

I think its about GPU as you said.

In Preferences/performance: graphic processor : "AMD Radeon Pro 5500M OpenGL Engine"

what should i do to? 🙂

You need to supply that answer wait to see if Adobe will support your GPU well or install a different GPU that may be supported well in Photoshop 2021. Personally I wait the Adobe finishes developing Photoshop 2021 the see if it will support your current GPU.  Adobe has not finished updating all Photoshop features in 2021 yet there are many issues in 2021. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/known-issues.html
