Font Drop-Down Menu Samples Stop Aligning When Scrolling

Hi Cory-after applying the NVIDIA update, checking for any Windows and/or Creative Cloud updates and shutting down/restarting the system, the problem does persist. The font menu continues to show the same behavior as before.

Apologies in advance if this shows up twice; I tried responding through the website Wednesday afternoon, but my original response appears to have gotten lost in the ether.

Thanks for the response Cory-I tried removing my Settings folder as described in the linked directions and it had no effect on the issue. What I'll call the "offsetting" issue continued to occur even under a fresh set of prefs.

A couple of additional notes:
-One thing I'd not tried before was using the keyboard to navigate through that menu. I tried it and got the same response-the offset happened when stepping through the menu using just the arrow keys. Curiously, if I step through one at a time, it offsets, but if I double-pop the arrow key, the menu briefly offsets, then returns to normal.
-If I scroll down to the very bottom of the list where the foreign (to me) typefaces are (Hebrew, Arabic, Thai, etc.), having the mouse on the line separating languages does not trigger the offset; it appears to only happen when something selectable within the menu is highlighted by the mouse pointer.

Hi @bscripps, sorry hear this.

A couple things to try:

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere: 

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

Does it work correctly? 

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. 

If it does solve the problem, I would like to get the folder of settings to try and figure out what is bad with them. 

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
