Font Favorites not saving in Photoshop 24.1.1

I thought I'd set up some favorite fonts on my 2019 MacBook Pro running MacOS Monterey 12.6 so I wouldn't have to scroll through a long list of system fonts all the time. So I started with Iluustrator 27.2. Selected about 75 of my favorite fonts and it worked beautifully... no more system fonts even after I restarted the program. Then I tried the same exact font selection in Photoshop 24.1.1 and it worked until I restarted the program... all my favorites were gone. Tried to get this to work sevral times trying different things posted on the Adobe Support Community and could not get it to work. Illustrator works fine, Photoshop does not work. Even tried to reset my preferences. How does it work in Illustrator and not Photoshop? Help.

This is happening to me as well, I am on PC, running windows 10 pro. it is currently only happening wth photoshop, my font favorites are disappearing, seemingly at random. I have had no recent crashes and I updated to the latest version 24.3, which is when I believe this began to happen.

please help!

    If you go to Apple>System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Privacy and under Full Disk Access

    you add the Adobe Photoshop 2023.app from Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2023, does that

    make any difference?
