Font looks different in photoshop than on System

I downloaded a font but when I add a text some numbers and letters look different.Ekran Resmi 2020-10-28 12.12.28.pngexpand image

Some fonts offer lining and old style numbers (also proportionate and tabular versions).

Check out your glyphs: Type > Panels > Glyphs Panel.

Good typographic practice is to use (generally) lining figures with capital letters and old style figures with lower case text.

Looks like it may be a different font. Top picture: Didot Normal. Bottom picture: Didot bold.

May be just a poor quality font. I downloaded one and it did not work well.

There are several Didot fonts in Adobe Fonts, but there seem to be many different designs.

Thank you for your response! It doesn't work on both regular and bold options. Maybe the font just works poorly.

What version of macOS are you using?

 

Is your system language something other than english?

 

Where did you get the Didot font from?

 

I have been checking various versions of macOS/OS X and even macOS Catalina seems to have an Adobe version of the Didot font installed and it's not from Adobe Fonts.

(most likely a photoshop elements install on Catalina provided the Didot font.)
