Question

Font not rendering properly in PDF

Hello,

When I save my document as PDF, the part of the text becomes missing or "corrupt". There are only text layers and a background layer which is at the bottom of the layers so therefore could not be any of the text layers.

Please see the image here: help — Postimage.org

As you can see on the 'manufacturing' part of it is missing or outlined. This is only once I render it as a PDF. It does not happen as a JPEG, PNG or can see it in the PSD itself. My document colour settings are CMYK as it is for a brochure.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Why CC 2015 and not CC 2017?

Could you post screenshots of the file and pdf?

I recall similar-sounding issues in older versions but I am not sure if/when they were fixed.

In addition to c.pfaffenbichler's request: What are your parameters saving the PDF file. What utility do you use to read the PDF file?

As you have not even mentioned the Photoshop version you use please read this (in particular the section titled "Supply pertinent information for quicker answers"):

http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2325

One possible work-around for the issue is converting the Type Layers to Shape Layers (Type > Convert to Shape).
