Font size will not change

Just updated to the 2018 version of Photoshop CC and the font size is stuck at small. I have changed it to medium and restarted both photoshop and my computer but the font size will not change. I looked at many other forums saying that the UI now scales with the operating system of the computer I'm using, so I went and fiddled with my font size in the Windows display settings and that did make the Photoshop UI bigger... at the cost of making literally everything else on my screen outrageously large. I also tried using the UI scaling button right below the size button, and that did not do anything either.

So, how to I make JUST the photoshop font size larger and nothing else on my computer?

No I do not. And regardless, I do not want to make any of the other icons/text on my computer bigger. I just want to make photoshop's text a reasonable size like it used to be.

    Hi HoboWithAPhone,

Sorry about the delay in my response.

We've seen several users facing similar issue with the UI scaling on Windows 10.
Could you please try out the steps mentioned in this discussion Photoshop CC 19.1: UI doubled in size (Win 10) | Photoshop Family Customer Community and let us know if that enables you to change the UI scaling and the font size as per your liking?

    Thanks,

    Hi HoboWithAPhone,

We have made some improvements in the Photoshop UI running on Windows 10 and we do expect to see improved and adaptive scaling specially on Hi-DPi monitors. Could you please help us with the Windows display settings you selected and a before/after view of what the UI looks like.

With the latest update release 19.1, Photoshop on Windows 10 Creator’s Edition now offers a full range of choices for UI scale factors from 100% through 400%, in 25% increments. This means that the Photoshop interface will look crisp, beautiful, and the right size no matter the density of your monitor. This is one of the top most requested features from Photoshop customers on Windows devices and will allow us to take advantage of every pixel on high-density screens. For more information on high-density pixels on HiDPI displays,

Please refer this blog-post The Details Behind High-Density Pixels on HiDPI Displays

    Thanks,

This is the setting I used to change my Windows font size. 150 is the standard size. I changed this to 200, which resulted in the 2nd screenshot.

This is what it looked like after I changed my Windows font size to 200. This is exactly how I want photoshop to look but all other text/icons/etc on my computer are way over inflated as a result, so I had to change my Windows font size back down to 150.

Are you able to tell me how to change just the photoshop font size with this information?

Do you have a DPI setting of 125% to choose from the Display options in Windows?
