Font weight in Character Window

When I add text to a photo in Photoshop the only option that is available for font weight.  No other options are available.  Any help on this will be much appreciated.  Thanks.

Seems Lato fonts are available from Adobe

    On top of the type menu, select "More from Adobe Fonts..." you'll be able to download the rest of the family, as C_Pfafenbichler told you.

      Did you install the whole family or only that one font?
