Frame by file borders when using select and mask

I know how to remove the 1-pixel frame that appears around the file when using this tool. But I would like to know why it occurs and how to fix this glitch.

How are you selecting and then what settings are you using in Select and Mask?

I would recommend using Select Subject and see what kind of results you set. Those images are fairly easy (no hair, fringes) so a sharp edge should be simple enough to maintain.

Make sure you are not feathering or adjusting the edge in Select and Mask. It retains your previous settings until you reset the window.

I mostly use select subject. But I remove the background in 10-20 photos daily and of course there are more complex options with hair) and not clear enough photos. Therefore, the refinement of the edges is important. From other settings, only a slight smoothing of the selection. I don't understand why these settings affect anything other than the highlighted area.
