Frame tool is heavily crippled and not usable professionally :
Lets see 3 major bug that affect this tool
Platteform : Win 11
Photoshop version : 25.1.0
1/ Severity high / Wrong result when "distribute" the frames : frame distribution does not work properly the result is not what expected when using distribution : IE does not distribute on selection or canvas , strange result but not correct distribution => this is one of the main function when designing layout so frame tool cannot be used professionally
2/ severity medium / Impossible to repeat transformation when moving a frame (option is greyed) : again one of the main possibility of doing proper layout does not work
3/Sevity low : cannot move a frame when you have an active "ant" selection : display some criptic message : " Could not move the selection because the Pixels in a group cannot be edited without merging the group."
I seriously doubt anyone has ever usued frame tools in photoshop seriously because since it's out like 10 yeras ago no one repported that. I personnaly never usued it and decided to give a try today instead of using indesign for a quick project => was not that quick and I ended here
None the less i hope this will be fixed some time
