This is really stupid on Adobe's part. Prior to the latest release I have always been able to do free form crop i.e. I can move any side od a picture without affecting the other sides. Adobe in their infinite "wisdom" made a change that one can only describe aa stupid. Just read the comments and questions in the forums. Now you have to hold a modifyer key (sfift) so that you crop doesn't follow some kinf of ratio that the Adobe cognicenti thinks you should use. Give me a break Adobe! Most of us out here are more intelligent than you think. You mst have gone to school with Donald.

GIVE ME BACK FREEFORM CROPPING!

I have a number of friends who have been telling me to drop an EXPENSIVE Photoshop and go with more reasonable editors. From my view you are now on the cusp.

Is you crop set to ratio? If you have it on WxHxResolution, you can crop without having to hold the shift key.

Thanks for this.  Switching to ratio returned the crop to what I was used to.

Appreciate your help.
