Hi

When I press free transform, it selects half an image that isn´t there.

Any clue what this could be ?

Thanks

I suspect the Layer was clipped sloppily and actually has pixel content way over on the right.

Please provide the file.

You could try removing the excessive content by Select > All, Layer > Layer Mask > Reveal Selection and then Layer > Layer Mask > Apply.

In a first step you should try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps described here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset-preferences

It's recommend to backup your settings before resetting the preferences.

See here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#backup-photoshop-preferences
