Freezing when opening RAW file

My photoshop is freezing when I open a RAW image. I need to restart my laptop, after the restart it happens again. 2 months ago it worked fine, but now it's everytime freezing. Can someone help me please?

@Colin5DCA what exact version of Photoshop are you using, are the RAW files freezing in Camera Raw itself or after you open them from Camera Raw to Photoshop

I'm using version 24.5 and its freezing in camera raw itself. I think maybe the camera raw menu is opening on a 'second screen' or something
