Hello,
I created an infographic (with icons, gradients, and transparency) in Illustrator. But the client wants to make edits in Photoshop.
So, what is my best bet, the best option on how to import those .ai layers to be editable in .psd?
I tried different options, and one with the most possibilities is when I ungroup all in Illustrator and then save it as a Photoshop file. The problem with that is having a lot of layers, and one with gradients got flattened.
Any suggestions?

This is just how it works. The gradients could likely be re-created in PS, but of course you'd have to put in the time to e.g. apply all the Gradient Overlay layer styles. Likewise, you can replace any converted text and even some shapes with PS' equivalents where possible. That and naturally you may want to organize your file into sensible groups. Other than that there's simply no way to keep everything fully editable and your client has to accept that.

Yeah, isn't easy to import AI complex graphics into PS and this is how it works.
Thank you for your answers.

Could you post a screenshot of the graphic so we can see how complex it is?
