Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar - Photoshop

When I go to full screen mode with the menu bar and I right click on the background to change the color to pure white, my image shows a shadow background boarder, like it's poping off the screen or it's 3D.  I attached a picture so you can see.  How do I change this so my image is fully imbeded into the background color that I choose? Thank you!

Here are the document border settings for each screen mode. Drop Shadow is the default, you can change it to "none" if you don't want your edges to have the drop shadow look.

      While "Reset Preferences" is a common troubleshooting technique, it would not have fixed the problem in your case because it would keep drop shadow because it is a default setting for this screen mode.

       

      That said, I'm glad it works now.

      What is your operating System? and the PS version you are using?

      Try to close PS. And when you start hold down the Command/Conrol Option/Alt Shift to delete prefernce file.

      Sure, I'm using Mac Mojave 10.14.6.  I'm using Photoshop cc 20.0.1 release.  I was expecting an easier answer than these.  I figured this was just a preference or a setting that I can change on the fly.

        Could you please let us know the version of Photoshop and the operating system you're working on?


        Try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and let us know if it helps: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

         

        Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes & actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings


        Also, please share a screenshot of the full Photoshop user interface.
