Functional Merge Down with Adjustment Layers

It would be nice when merging grouped adjustment layers with a base layer that the resulting name of the layer be the base layer, not the top adjustment layer (huh?).

Bascially a functional Merge Down command which makes the resulting layer name the bottom layer.

This would make not thaving to go back and and rename the resulting merged layer to the original base layer name. A layer called Levels, or Hue/Saturation is not really helpful.

If you make the Base Layer active then press Cmd+E or go to Layer>Merge Clipping Mask that should keep the Base Layer name.

Wow, all this time I've been selecting the adjustment layers + the base layer then pressing Cmd+E. I never thought to just select the base layer to have them all merge. Thanks!
