Generative AI and credits = disappointment
There is not a lot of artistic freedom when using generative AI in Adobe. Generation has become so frustrating that I only use generative ai to subtract or add generic objects in Photoshop. As a result, I find that my allocated generative AI credits is almost full at the end of the billing cycle. To add to the frustration I cannot even use my generative AI credits to generate a "generic" video in Firefly - it notifies me that I should purchase a Firefly plan, yet Firefly is included in my "all apps" subscription and my account has full gen ai credits.
My suggestions are:
1. Make the subscriber's gen ai credits available across all the apps in the subscriber's plan.
2. Make gen ai useful for artists, for example: In designing a provocative album cover. It's rated PG, not R. Why treat it as R during the editing process? Constantly issuing warnings that breaks the artistic flow that leads to abandoning the project to use "other" apps? Can't you just judge the final work and just keep quiet during the production?
3. Give subscribers an option to revert their plan without additional charges for AI.
I'm starting to think that our best years are behind us. Your competitors are flexing.
