Generative AI in 2025 has degraded compared to 2024.

In the new Photoshop, the Generative AI model has changed. The quality has dropped drastically, and this has become a disaster for my work.

This is the original image:

This is photoshp 2024:

And this is Photoshop 2025:

As you can see from the examples, the difference is simply enormous! The new Photoshop just can't handle texture generation. It's hard to understand how something could be made this poorly, and there’s no way to adjust or configure it.

    Hey, @Shakuto. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. Thanks for the detailed feedback and the screenshots; they help. 

     

    Have you tried using Photoshop on the Web (https://adobe.ly/44BQlaT)? What was the last version of Photoshop in which this behaved as expected? Has this started to happen since Photoshop v26.0, or a recent update?

    Also, please test and confirm if the issue exists with Photoshop (Beta). You can get Photoshop (beta) from the Creative Cloud > Apps tab > Beta Apps section.
