Generative AI isn't working

Generative AI isn't working for me. In the beta I got an error reading "This feature is turned off. Contact your admin for details". In PS 2024, the process just closes out without completing when I select "Generate". I reached out to my company's admin team and was told that this was shut off at Adobe's level. I suspect that may have been an incorrect "pass-off" but thought I'd at least ask if it's possible. It's also possible this is a bug; are there any issues running on M1 Ultra Mac Studios? Or perhaps Ventura 13.1 OS? While the error doesn't show in PS 2024, here is the error that is thrown in PS Beta:

If my company admin was mistaken, can someone guide me on what to communicate to them to get the feature toggled back on? Ours is an AI-embracing company, but precious few designers; so Photoshop isn't top of the wheel-house.
