Generative AI "The service is not responding"

Hi there, 

 

I've been getting this error message "The service is not responding. Please check your internet and try again" constantly since last week. It was working perfectly before then on the beta version. I've tried deleting the beta version and work with Photoshop v25.0 which has generative ai function but keep getting stuck at 100%. On top of that, it seems to work randomly when I connect to my phone's hotspot but it fails again after a few minutes. I'm on a mac and I've tried to disable the firewall as suggested by some people but still doesn't seem to work. 

 

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Found a solution using a VPN.

 

Close the app (PS) from task manager, open your VPN app (I tested this with Hostspot shield VPN), connect to any location (I'm from Colombia so I connected to a US virtual address), reopen PS. After that the Generate Tool should work with no issues.

This was tested with both PS beta (Version 26.8) and Regular PS (26.7)

This kind of error makes my workflow far more slower, i'd rather spend 20 minutes of manual editing rather than wasting an hour waiting for this "feature" to complete a 250*250 144pi generative fill. internet speed : 200+mbps, no firewall/blocker whatsoever, updated to latest version, cache cleared... everytime i sees this kind of thread usually no clear resolve or solution from the team. i've subbed to adobe apps for a decade but so far this is the most disappointing aside for the payment backend mess.

I've have even signed out and created a new account with a 7 day trial to test it but its giving me the same problem.....
