Generative Fill not available

Hello!

Here I am again looking for help. 

I want to use the Generative Fill in Photoshop but as much as I googled where to find it, I can't. I have the Cloud subscription and the apps are updated automatically so I don't understand what's going on.

@Regina Melo if you do have a valid Adobe subscription, I'd suggest using the Adobe Cleaner Tool to completely start afresh, you may also want to run a antivirus/malware scan on your PC

If it was me I would format the PC and reinstall Windows

You can download the CC app from here https://www.adobe.com/ie/creativecloud/desktop-app.html to reinstall your paid for apps, if indeed you have a valid Adobe subscription

The system info that is in your above post reflects on someone that is using non genuine/pirated software and doesn't correspond to what we should actually see

Having the same issue.  Get the task bar with subject and background options but no generative fill.  Just updated to Ps 24.7.1 not beta.

Contexual task bar option is checked but no generativ eill options come up.

@ellendk you need to install version 25.0 which is available from the Creative Cloud app, Generative Fill is not available in version 24.7.1

I've had a valid Adobe subscription for years, and a couple of weeks ago
I left my laptop at Best Buy for them to check if there were any signs of
virus. The laptop was there for two days and they said nothing was no sign
of virus on it.

Lots of people get pirated versions through good faith purchases.

Follow Ged's instructions. I have to agree with him about a full reformat and reinstall of Windows. That's what I'd do. These illegal versions aren't distributed for charity. Chances are it contains malware.

I didn't fully reformat and reinstall Windows as I was afraid of not being able to do it right. I found out that I had both latest versions installed and the one Lightroom had access was version 24.7.1, so I deleted it from my Creative Cloud apps and from my computer, leaving only the 25.0 version, and, so far, everything is working fine.

I just don't understand why while updating to the newest version Creative Cloud kept the older version.
