Getting Brush Spots when doing strokes

im using latest version of photoshop version (21.1.3) Mac os Catalina, when painting im getting brush spots as in the attached picture.

Does this happen with tablet and mouse or only with the tablet?

Hi c_pfaffenbichler, mouse doesn't use pressure, so happens only when I use my cintiq.

This sounds like a Brush Settings issue. I suggest double-checking all your Brush Settings to make sure some type of Scattering or effect is not active. When you click on a name, such as Scattering, Shape Dynamics... it will bring up a new set of options.

Thanks josephlavine for the reply the brush I use is a purchased one, I didnt modify the brush settings, in brush settings scattering is not even enabled .
