Getting temporary files saved when saving a file

Everytime I save a file in Photoshop or Illustrator the program creates a temporary file.  This is starting to create a lot of files in my system.  I have tried to delete them and they WILL NOT delete.  It says they are in use.  I have not got any program open and just restarted my computer to try and move them to the trash.  It doesn't allow me to delete them still.  Why does Adobe products do this sort of thing every time on a Mac?  It won't even let me delete a file that I have tried to change the name of just to delete it.

It's not clear here what files or where the files are that you are trying to remove.

  1. What location are you finding the files? you may not want to remove some of these files if you work with them frequently.
  2.  If they are Temp files, they will drop off over time.
  3.  You may not be allowed to remove them because Adobe Creative Cloud app could be using them, this is normal for Mac or Windows.

However, it is possible to make it so one could allow the files to be deleted. I would urge one to use CAUTION before doing this unless you are familair with thess system processes.

That never answered my question.  Funny how only in the most recent era of CC has this been a problem.  You mentioned it is possible, but then you give no info on how to do it.  I don't need your strong urging as what to do or not to do.  I wanted a solution and you can give the info on how to and then the urging side note if that is what you feel needs to be known.  But don't say there is a solution, but only warn the person and never give the solution to the problem.  That is you become part of the problem.
