Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Would you mind sharing the version of Photoshop you're using along with your computer's macOS version? Please ensure you're using the latest version of Photoshop through the Creative Cloud desktop app.

You can try going to the Preferences of Photoshop, then Technology Previews & enable the option to Deactivate Native Canvas. Once done, relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.
