Glitch when selecting drawings with onion skin activated while animating

Hi, In Photoshop 25.6.0 i have some artifacts when I select my drawing with onion skin on while animating, but when I turn it off, the artifacts disappear. I recently erased some files from the 'temp' folder in my system. But none of them was from Creative Cloud or Photoshop. How can I fix this?

I get artefacts when transfrming with Onion Skin, but they disappear on confirming.

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?
Does turning on »Deactivate Native Canvas« (Photoshop > Preferences > Technology Previews) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Just to make sure: Did you restart Photoshop after changing the settings?

Yes, I restarted it when changing the Graphics Processor setting, and when deactivating the Technology Previews setting as well. And I tried the Technology Previews option with and without the Graphics Processor activated.

Do you have customized presets? Did you create Actions, Brushes, … of your own?

If so you should save (and back-up) the corresponding files (via the various Panels’ flyout menus) from time to time.

I'm glad to tell you that it worked!! Thank you so much, it was so annoying to see those things while animating. When i restored the preferences, it reseted all my interface but it saved me all the brushes and the actions.

What's the reason that the issue with the artifacts happened? Could you tell me? I wanna know, i'm curious.

Thank you so much again for your help!

I cannot say; similar artefacts are often releated to the GPU but in this case they apparently were not.
