Glitchy Screen!

Does anyone else's Photoshop do this?

My app is up to date, no matter what I try, occasionally the screen gets like this.

Often in the layer bar, the individual layers show up like this, bright random colors.

When I am on the artboard it is okay and visibility of what I am working on is fine.

I have a Macbook Pro 2017, its relatively new so there's no issues there.

Please let me know! thanks

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Is this sporadic?

Video driver issue, if I recall. It was supposed to be fixed (by Apple, via their updates). I'm assuming that's still the case.

It happens every other time I use Photoshop, mostly within the layers' icons.

My Macbook is up to date and so is my Photoshop.

I have reset my preferences to their original setting already, that is not the issue. Restarting Photoshop did not help either.

Just now I deselected the "Graphic Processor" setting, so I will see if that makes a difference, and will get back to you.
