Glowing effect on face

Hi guys!

I want to ask how can i achieve this effect in photoshop without actually splashing my face with the colors.

Hi Bahaar

I took an image and used Hue & Saturation with colorize to turn it dark and blue

Then another masked curve to lighten the eye

After that it was just a combination on brushes (mainly soft round and scatter - the latter with a wide spacing) painted on to a couple of new layers set to screen blending mode. I did this with just three colours - Red - Yellow and white.

Finally another curve just to bring out more contrast

Hope that gets you started
