Gradient slider in Photoshop not showing

I cannot get the gradient slider to show up on the canvas. It was working fine last week. I've used it a number of times since its release without issue. I tried today, and it will make a gradient, but the slider isn't there. I can't easily edit it like I should. I've tried changing it to Classic Gradient, reset the tool, reset all the tools, close/reopened Photoshop, relaunched the Creative Cloud desktop app, restarted my computer. Nothing works. I've checked for app updates and Windows updates. It says everything is up to date. Any way to fix this?

I seem to have fixed it. I checked "Use Graphics Processor" in Preferences. It came back on right away, although that shouldn't have worked with out restarting PS. I had unchecked it quite a while back when I was having other issues. That was months ago. It was working fine four days ago with that turned off. Not sure what caused that. Last PS update was 11 days ago, so that doesn't seem directly related.

Do you possibly have View > Extras un-checked?
